- In an interview, Madhavan spoke about his college days and revealed that his father wanted him to pursue an MBA; however, he could not crack the final round of admission, that is, the interview because he was not good at English.
- Rajesh Madhavan has performed in many theater productions, including a dark comedy theater production titled ‘A Very Normal Family’ (February 2019). He played the role of ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ in the drama. The play was directed by Roshan Mathew and was screened at the Nishagandhi Auditorium as part of the Mathrubhumi International Literature Festival in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
