Rang Maza Vegla is an Indian Marathi language show directed by Chandrakant Gaikwad. The show is based on the Malayalam serial Karuthamuthu. It was released on 30 October 2019. It airs from Monday to Friday at 8:00 pm on Star Pravah and Star Pravah HD. The show was well received by the Marathi audience and since its release the show has always maintained a Top 5 rating in BARC’s weekly Marathi show list.
The story revolves around Deepa who is constantly discriminated by the society because of her dark skin. Her mother dies saving Kartik, who later becomes Deepa’s love interest. Her father is married to Radha, together they have a daughter, Shweta, who hates her step-sister because she has a fairness complex unlike Deepa.
Kartik’s mother, Soundarya, is the owner of the business ‘Satej Kanti’ because her looks are also more important than anything else but Kartik is completely opposite because Kartik craves intelligence and kindness more than beauty. He ends up falling in love with Deepa, seeing that she is kind and generous.
