Rapper Blueface was stabbed in the leg by an unknown person while training at a boxing gym in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning for an upcoming fight.
The 26-year-old artist, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, was taken to a hospital, where he is recovering from the 10:30 a.m. attack at the Kaminsky Boxing Gym in Reseda, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Later on Wednesday, the “Thotiana” rapper posted apparent surveillance footage of the confrontation on her Instagram Story.
He wrote in the caption that he was no longer able to participate in the fight scheduled for October 14 because he was “stabbed by a random guy.”
The LAPD confirmed with the newspaper that a man was taken to a local hospital with stab wounds while conscious and breathing, but declined to identify the victim as Blueface.
The suspect fled in a black Tesla Model S with no license plate, police said.

The video posted by Blueface showed an agitated man in a white tank top and jeans approaching the rapper, who was wearing boxing gloves and a chest protector, but another man — identified by TMZ as trainer David Kaminsky — stepped between them. A dog can also be seen running around in the background.
Both can be seen jawing back and forth before Blueface circles Kaminsky and punches the suspect in the face with a hard right. He then hit her with several other punches, the video shows.
The man stepped back, and appeared to pull a knife from his pocket. The footage was cut before the alleged stabbing.

“He kept approaching me with the look in his eyes. I know what that looks like,” Blueface recounted in another corner of the argument.
He posted another clip showing a bloody bandage and told his fans not to worry.
“It’s just a leg kick, guys, I’m okay. You don’t have to blow up my phone or not,” he said.
Kaminsky told TMZ that the crazy man stormed into the gym and yelled, “I’m going to kill you” at Blueface.
No arrests were made.
The rapper separately faces attempted murder charges in Nevada in connection with a shooting near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sunset Road in October 2022, police said.
