Rapper Sauce Walka was arrested and charged after he led Houston police on a high-speed chase before crashing his vehicle early Wednesday morning.
“Defendant Mondane was released from a local Hospital after evaluation, and was booked into the Harris County Co-Processing center on a charge of Felony Evading Arrest \ Detention in a vehicle,” the Texas Harris County Sheriff’s Office told The Post in a statement.
He was released on $15,000 bond.
The “Big Drip Squad” hitmaker, 33, reached speeds of 130 mph over two miles in a desperate attempt to elude police, Fox 26 reported.
Sauce Walka, whose real name is Albert Walker Mondale, will appear in court Friday.

Walka began his rap career in 2007 under the name A-Walk as a member of Houston’s rap group Mostheard.
He later changed his stage name to Sauce Walka in 2014, and formed a duo called Sauce Twinz with rapper Sancho Saucy that year.
That same year, he founded the independent record label The Sauce Factory.

The father of one, who has 1.6 million followers on Instagram, has had run-ins with the law throughout his rap career.
In 2009, Walka was involved in a gun-related incident when he pleaded guilty to deadly conduct following a shooting at a concert at Texas Southern University.

Walka, then known as A-Walk, was accused of injuring a student at the gig, which saw him serve court-ordered community supervision.
While the Houston native often talks about life in Texas in his raps, he recently opened up to Stereogum about what it was like growing up in Texas’ biggest city.
“It’s magical and treacherous,” he told the outlet in June. “There is a way of life that comes from the music we listen to. All the history, and our style, comes from the south side of Houston.”

“I have lost the innocent moments, the moments with your mother that you cherish. Same thing with my grandparents passing away too. So, when you’re someone like me — who has lost that much — it draws you to the streets even more. It’s my therapy,” he added.
