Raquel Leviss has finally opened up about her relationship with “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Tom Sandoval. Leviss and Sandoval’s months-long romance was recently discovered and made public by his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix.

Raquel Leviss revealed the status of her relationship with Tom Sandoval following news of their cheating scandal making headlines. Leviss released a statement on Instagram about their affair which was revealed about a week ago.
In an Instagram post, Leviss wrote, “Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born of a loving friendship. Knowing how many people we hurt, I had to understand my choices and learn to make better choices.”
The reality star also stated that she needs to take control of her health, “work on self-growth and take time to be ok with being alone.” Leviss added, “I care about Tom and I don’t want to label anything or predict what will happen. Now I have to heal.”
Ariana Madix Learned About The Relationship Last Week

Sandoval’s girlfriend of about nine years, Ariana Madix, learned of his affair with Leviss last week. He reportedly found multiple “inappropriate” texts between the two, along with recordings of intimate video calls. Madix made the discovery on Sandoval’s phone while he was performing with his band, Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras.
According to an insider’s statement to Many people, the video Madix found was a “FaceTime call between Tom and Raquel.” The source shared that when Madix found the video, he “recorded it and sent it [it] to himself.” Leviss’ legal team has now sent Madix, Sandoval and their co-stars legal notices to stop sharing the intimate footage.
The lawyers sent a letter to Sandoval, in which they stated that he had recorded the video “illegally” and “without Leviss’ permission.” They have now ordered that anyone who has the video delete it immediately, either on their phone or “any other way or method in which the recording may exist.”
The lawyers also demanded in the legal notice that Sandoval and Madix tell them about “everyone to whom you have forwarded this recording or to whom you may have allowed to see this recording.”

Leviss’ lawyers also sent a letter to Madix, in which they stated that they understood the “difficulty this may cause” him. However, it is still “illegal to re-record Leviss’s footage. and could expose him to “criminal and civil penalties.”
When Madix discovered the video, sources said Many people that the reality star was “completely blindsided.” They said, “This is someone he thought he knew; someone she plans to spend the rest of her life with. You cannot utter those treasonous words.”
Shortly after, another source confirmed that Sandoval and Madix had ended their relationship, which had lasted for about nine years. The source said, “Ariana has been there for Raquel when she’s going through her breakup with James [Kennedy]. He thought they were friends. This is not something you do to a friend.”

On Wednesday, Leviss issued a public apology to Madix during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. The reality star spoke about not being proud of her actions and regretting the pain she had caused Madix. Leviss continues, “I have sought emotional validation through unhealthy intimate relationships without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing intimacy over my friendships.”
