Raquel Leviss has exited “Vanderpump Rules,” but she’s not letting it get her down.
The reality star shared a new affirmation on social media, reminding herself to stay positive and focus on the good things in her life. After the “Scandoval” cheating scandal that has grabbed headlines since March, the star embarked on a journey of self-discovery, which included a brief stint in a facility.
Raquel Leviss Shares Empowering Pledge After Leaving ‘VPR’
Embracing a new chapter after leaving “Vanderpump Rules,” the former beauty queen has taken a bold step. Over the weekend, she changed her Instagram profile, making changes such as changing her display name to Rachel, her birth name.
With over 600,000 followers, his biography now reflects the message, “Becoming a better person… one day at a time.” Although he is believed to be in talks with the show’s producers to return, ET confirmed that after discussions, the 28-year-old will not take part in the filming of the upcoming season.

This development follows revelations earlier this year about Tom Sandoval’s affair with his longtime partner, Ariana Madix, involving Leviss—a narrative that played out in the previous season. A source told the outlet:
“Rachel will not be returning for season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. There was a possibility until recently that he would return for a new season, but ultimately decided against it. Rachel is focused on her mental health journey and knows returning to the show will open her up to the trauma she’s working to heal. Rachel is looking forward to her future.”
Another person who confirmed the reality TV star’s departure was Lisa Vanderpump. During the interview, he stated that Leviss will not be featured in the upcoming 11th season despite initial interest.
The 62-year-old also revealed to the publication that he had explored the idea of filming an exclusive interview with the young star to explore his personal growth and time spent in a mental health facility following the scandal. He said:
“When he’s in the facility, his team is texting and emailing us. We want to make sure he’s in a good place first, and I’ll do one-on-ones with him. He talks about it [coming back]. His team reached out, but in the end, I think he decided not to.”
The “John Halifax, Gentleman” guest star insisted that asking Leviss to rejoin the cast for filming wouldn’t work because “most, if not all, of the cast don’t believe anything that comes out of Rachel’s mouth.”

In response to a question about the success of the show without the former “Miss Sonoma County,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum said, “Huh, it was successful before her. Before she joined and connected with James [Kennedy].” He also ignored Leviss’ claim that Sandoval was offered a producer credit for the 11th season, a claim that a Bravo spokesperson confirmed as false.
‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Demands Raise From Show Amid Filming Hiatus
After the infidelity scandal came to the fore during the reunion, leading to an explosive confrontation among the actors, Leviss reportedly entered a mental health facility in April for a stint.
After that, it was reported that he was negotiating for better compensation from the producers of the show. Speculation also arose that he chose to skip filming for the upcoming season and even chose not to join the cast on a trip to Lake Tahoe. According to the source:
“Rachel has been spending time with her family in Arizona since leaving the mental health facility. Rachel has received letters from people talking about their own mental health journeys and praising her for taking time away from filming to focus on her mental health. Rachel is in a very good place and has been enjoying a slower pace of life. She has been doing Pilates and often goes hiking.”
The insider also mentioned that although Leviss has refrained from filming the current season, the possibility has not been completely ruled out. This may be due to negotiations on his contract and getting better compensation.
