Ray J’s wife, Puteri Love, has filed for divorce from him after almost eight years of marriage. This will make it the fourth time that Ray J and Love have tried to legally divorce.
As we reported, last year, the singer was granted a divorce after revealing on social media that he and Love had made plans to reconcile and work on their marriage. The duo has two children together.

According to court documents obtained by ExplosionRay J and Princess Love’s marriage is coming to an end…again.
On Monday, February 26, Love filed for divorce at Chatsworth Court in Los Angeles. This will make it the fourth time the couple has tried to end their marriage.
In 2023, the “One More Day in Heaven” singer was granted a divorce dismissal for her filing in 2021. At the time, the decision was made “without prejudice,” meaning that Ray J and Love could file for divorce again in future, which has just been done by the second party.
Before his divorce filing was rejected last year, Ray J took to his Instagram page to announce that he and Love were working to reconcile.
“GOT TO GET MY WIFE BACK AND START FRESH,” Ray J posted on Instagram on Jan. 17 while peeking into the Las Vegas hotel he was staying at at the time. “I LOVE MY FAMILY!! I WILL FIGHT OVER AND OVER FOR MY LIFE FOR MY FAMILY AND CHILDREN!! – I WILL PUT EVERYTHING ON THE LINE FOR MY CHILDREN TO BE HAPPY AND SAFE AND CLOSE TO ME 24/7.”
The duo share two children together, daughter Melody Love, 4, and son Epik Ray, 3.
Princess Love Speaks Out About Her Divorce From Ray J

Shortly after filing for divorce, Love took to social media to break her silence on the shocking news by sharing what appeared to be a joint statement from her and Ray J.
The statement read: “Dear Friends and Family, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce. “After much reflection, discussion and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged and it is in both of our best interests to separate.”
It continued, “We want to assure you that this decision was made thoughtfully and with mutual respect and consideration for each other’s well-being. Although our relationship as a couple may be coming to an end, we remain committed to co-parenting our children and maintaining a positive and supportive family dynamic.”
The estranged couple took the opportunity to ask the public to respect their privacy during a difficult time in their lives.
Concluding the lengthy statement, they said: “While this chapter of our lives may be closing, we hope to embrace the opportunities for growth, healing, and new beginnings that await. We are confident that with time, understanding, and the support of our loved ones, we will navigate this transition with grace and resilience. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
