For Reese Witherspoon, the third time may be the charm in her quest to find the one!
Despite having two divorces under her belt, Witherspoon reportedly hasn’t given up on finding love and has started dating as the one-year anniversary of her divorce from Jim Toth approaches.

Nearly a year after the “Big Little Lies” star and Toth called it quits after 12 years of marriage, sources claim Witherspoon is dipping her toe in the sand of the dating scene.

According to insiders, the producers of the film have already started dating. “Reese hasn’t gone out on too many dates, but he’s been set up with a few friends,” the source claims.
The insider revealed that the two-time Golden Globe winner is “taking things very slowly” but is very “excited” about the process of falling in love again. “In an ideal world, she’d like to meet someone special in 2024 and finally settle down,” the source told US Weekly, before adding that “for now, there’s no pressure” for Witherspoon.
As for how he feels as the first anniversary of his second divorce approaches, another source told the outlet that the 47-year-old has a “very relaxed attitude” towards romance.
Remember that Witherspoon and Toth shocked the world with the news of their divorce in March 2023 with a statement released on social media that read:
“We have some personal news to share… With great care and consideration we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We have enjoyed so much beauty. Years together and moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for all we create together.”
The joint note continued, “Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These things are never easy and are deeply personal. We appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time. ” Toth and Witherspoon welcomed their son, Tennessee James Toth, in 2012.

A month after the announcement, the “Legally Blonde” actress filed for divorce, and five months later, the two sides reached a settlement. Toth and Witherspoon had a neat prenup so that their assets were divided to the “mutual satisfaction” of both parties, with no spousal payments awarded to either party.
As for custody of their 11-year-old son, the former lovers share joint physical and legal custody but will not pay child support to either party. As the Aliquippa native found love again, Witherspoon shut down romance rumors involving fellow actor Kevin Costner, who also divorced his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner.

However, Witherspoon quickly shut down the speculation through her representative. “This story is completely fabricated and untrue,” his representative confirmed.
