Reese Witherspoon recently celebrated her son Deacon’s 19th birthday with a beautiful message she shared on Instagram along with some of her photos.
The proud mama sings about the exploits of the second child she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillipe while also expressing her undying love for him.
Deacon, on the other hand, looks great for himself. The talented singer released her first single in August, “Long Run,” which has received a lot of attention and hit numbers.

The “Legally Blonde” actress took to her Instagram account to give a shout-out to her son, Deacon Reese Phillippe, as he marks a new age.

Witherspoon shared with her more than 28 million followers on Instagram adorable photos of Philippe, including a throwback shot of the young singer taken during her early years.
The first slide is a close-up of Deacon smiling as he poses for the camera. He was wearing a black t-shirt and his blonde hair was slicked back.
The second frame reveals a younger Deacon also smiling for the camera as he wears a blue pin-striped shirt and a gray hat that reveals some of his blond hair.

Witherspoon And Ryan Philippe Previously Celebrated Deacon’s 18th Birthday Together

Last year, the teenager received a similar outpouring of love from her parents on her 18th birthday. Although the couple is no longer together, they still maintain a friendly relationship and gather to observe special moments.
According to The Blast, Ryan gathered with his family to celebrate Deacon’s birthday. She and the “Big Little Lies” star shared several photos of Deacon on their separate Instagram accounts as they celebrated his birthday.
The “American Murderer” actor uploaded two family photos along with a heartwarming message. She wrote, “Happy 18th birthday to our beautiful, smart, talented and loving son. You are a true light in this world and are dearly loved by all who know you. We are lucky to be your mom and dad.”
He went on to add a shout-out to his ex-wife, writing, “Love you pup…(I’d say we’re doing well @reesewitherspoon)”, to which the mother-of-three responded by saying, “So proud of our son . … I mean our ADULT Children! 😮❤️.”
Reacting to the post, Deacon’s birthday man wrote, “Thanks, dad!! I love you.” Impressed fans praised Ryan and Witherspoon for their co-parenting skills, with one writing, “What a testament to the love & support you two give. Beautiful family inside and out.”
The “Sing” actor also posted a series of throwback photos of his son as he paid sweet tribute to him. Deacon Begins His Acting Career
Although a singer at heart, Deacon also has a passion for acting and was given his first role in the series “Never Have I Ever” as a guest star.
Per Entertainment Weekly, the 19-year-old will appear in the third season of the widely watched Netflix sitcom. Speaking about his character, co-creator Lang Fisher said, “We wanted Des’ character to go to a posh private school, and we had written this Parker character, and we just said, ‘Deacon would be great in this.’”
He praised the young star for his acting skills, saying, “This is his first acting gig, but he’s great. He came across like a real professional. He is a true professional on set. He was just a joy to work with.”
