Rekha Krishnappa was born on September 4, 1985 in Bangalore, Karnataka. He has completed his schooling from MES Secondary School. Later, he went to BHS First Grade College, Bangalore to pursue his post-graduation studies.

Career
Rekha started her career while working in the Malayalam serial Parijatham which aired on Asianet TV in 2009. After that, She later made her debut in the Kannada film industry with the film Maanikya, in which she played the role of Manasa’s mother. The film revolves around a girl who collects funds for an organization in Singapore.
Later, Rekha worked as a lead character in the television drama serial Deivamagal where she appeared as Gayathri alongside Vani Bhojan and Krishna Ragunandhan. The story revolves around Prakash and his wife Sathyapriya who face various challenges to keep their family together even as his sister-in-law Gayathri conspires to acquire her ancestral home.
Rekha has also worked in several television serials such as Mayamohini, Neeli, Thamizhum, Thirumagal etc. Rekha grabbed headlines for acting in the horror serial Nandini as Madhavi which aired on Sun TV.
