The concept of “Lohan Lives” is a well-known idea for a long time!
Lindsay Lohan, of course, used to be one of the biggest names in ‘Tinsel Town’ in the early 00s until the actress’ career stalled after she had to deal with some very personal issues publicly.
Lohan’s off-camera struggles soon became the talk of the town, inspiring headlines and laser-focused interest in her personal life.
The public’s fascination with Lohan’s fall from grace seems to coincide with the evolution of reality TV into the entity we know it as today; Lohan’s frequent partner Paris Hilton experienced a huge amount of success with “The Simple Life” earlier this decade, and finally their mutual friend Kim Kardashian will soon take over the genre with “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”.
The “Mean Girls” star will soon have an indirect influence on reality TV through “Living Lohan,” E! reality series structured as a vehicle for Lohan’s sister Aliana to venture into the music industry.
Lohan’s matriarch, Dina, will also star in the series.
The world gets to see Lohan’s dynamic on full display without the influence of the eldest child of a massively successful family, for nine episodes!
Looking Back On Life ‘Long Live Lohan!’

One of the main components of the storyline of “Living Lohan” sees Aliana ‘Ali’ Lohan trying to start a music career, a move that her sister was very familiar with at the time.
Lohan and her team soon began working on a single called “All The Way Around,” and viewers got to see younger sister Lindsay take her first steps into potential pop stardom courtesy of “Living Lohan!”

The prospect of watching Lohan’s music career grow as well as the chance to get to know Lohan’s family may have sounded like a doable concept at the time, tailor-made for perfect reality tv viewing. However, that didn’t seem to be the case for critics at the time!
The majority of “Living Lohan’s” internet presence 14 years after her debut seems to revolve around reviews of the show, and most of them aren’t very happy!
A 2008 review of the show from Slate Magazine called the series a “massive exploratory mess,” expressing concern over a then-14-year-old Lohan leading a TV show.
Entertainment Weekly gave the show an F, criticizing the show for potentially making Lohan a target for unwanted attention from critics or tabloids in a similar way to her sister, a possibility Dina was wary of.

“Living Lohan” may not be a critical darling or have a clear internet presence nearly two decades (!) later, but her legacy is evidently preserved through Twitter.
Twitter users discovered that “Gone Girl” author Gillian Flynn has write a review the show back when it first aired. Others are considering rebooting the show after Lindsay tied the knot with Bader Shammas earlier this summer.
Luckily for those looking to enjoy the train wreck and/or awesomeness of “Living Lohan” for the first time, many, if not all, episodes are available on YouTube!
Maybe a good idea to double feature Lindsay Lohan’s new Netflix holiday movie “Falling For Christmas,” in which Ali Lohan has a cameo?
