Rapp has opened up about the difficult decision he had to make to postpone two UK/European shows of his “Snow Hard Feelings Tour” due to an undisclosed and ongoing illness. In a statement shared on Tuesday, the 24-year-old began honestly:
“Guys, I’m sure you can tell but my voice was gone after last night’s show. I was sick for most of the European leg of the tour, and without any recovery time I just don’t seem to be able to avoid it.”
The “Mean Girls” actress stated that she needs to “rest my voice and not sing for the risk of long-term injury,” as she plans “to continue to deliver a high-quality show” to her fans.
Getting to the point, Rapp expressed his regret as he revealed the rescheduling of his afternoon and evening shows, which were originally scheduled to take place at The Brook in Southampton, England, on March 7.
According to him, the two shows have now been postponed to a new date to coincide with his performances in Reading and Leeds in England this August. After highlighting his desire to “have a new rescheduled date to share with you before the weekend,” he draw conclusions:
“This tour is everything to me but holy s— am I on fire and I have to prioritize my health right now. love you and appreciate your understanding endlessly ❤️.”

Despite the pain her fans’ updates may have caused, they quickly reached out to her in reply, with one stating, “I love you so much, please rest, we’ll be there when you’re ready.”
Another fan posted, “Love you so much and hope you get some much needed and DESERVED rest,” as a third declared, “Take care baby we love you so much and are taking care of you! you deserve rest and relaxation. Thinking about you!”
Similarly, a fourth Rapp supporter exclaimed, “Honey, you should rest! The tour was crazy and exhausting, especially starting with jet lag! I’m sure everyone will understand.”
It should be noted that news of the “Meet the Plastics” artist’s health comes after it was announced that he will be performing at this year’s Coachella festival. Her debut performance will be headlined by other industry stars such as Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey and Tyler, The Creator.
Hopefully the “TikTok: In the Mix” star will return to speak before the annual event scheduled for April 12-14 and 19-21.
Rapp’s Rise Was Helped By This Hollywood Show

Before taking a break to take care of her health, Rapp discussed how her participation as Leighton Murray in “The Sex Lives of College Girls” helped her come out.
In the first season of Mindy Kaling’s series, Leighton was shown to be in the closet. However, all that changes during a scene with Pauline Chalamet’s character. In the scene, Leighton tearfully admits to being romantically involved with another woman.
Reneé Rapp admitted that even though they were acting, the exit scene with Chalamet felt very genuine, attributing it to the genuine emotion conveyed in the moment. As he explained during an interview last month:
“I think it makes it easier in a way that makes me angry, but I’m also very grateful for it. That [show] was the most parallel experience of my life, and I remember doing that particular exit scene and not acting at all. I just sobbed. I see that, and I don’t see character. I was like, ‘That’s me.’”
In addition to helping with her exit, The Blast observed Rapp’s addition that Leighton’s role also “forced a lot of people in my life and my family to accept me in a weird way.”
