Rep. Lauren Boebert’s ‘mystery man’ is a Democrat who owns a Colorado bar: report

The “mystery man” who was kicked out of a Denver theater Sunday night along with Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert for disrupting the show is a Democrat who owns a bar in Aspen, sources confirmed to The Post.

Quinn Gallagher, 46, was Boebert’s secret date to see “Beetlejuice: The Musical” at Hoyne Buell’s Temple Theatre, where the two were later kicked out following complaints about vaping, singing loudly and taking pictures during the performance, the Daily Mail first reported .

The Colorado native is the co-owner of Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, which he opened with partner Pat Flannigan in April 2016, according to the Aspen Times.

The divorced father-of-one appears to have scandalized members of his Democratic-leaning family by spending the night with the prominent Republican, whom he has apparently been dating for months without their knowledge.

“It was very surprising. I always thought Quinn was a cool guy and a Democrat. Her parents will be horrified because they are definitely blue,” a source told the Daily Mail.

The outlet also obtained divorce records showing Gallagher married Aleece Alexander in 2006, and the couple operated the now-defunct Mona’s Bistro and Lounge in Seattle before their 2013 split.

Boebert, 36, once owned his own establishment, Shooters Grill, in Rifle, Colo., where he was often seen serving customers with a 9mm holster on his belt. The business closed in July 2022 after its landlord terminated its lease.

The grandmother of one and mother of four caused at least three disturbances with Gallagher before being confronted by ushers, according to theater incident reports obtained by The Post.

Theater staff threatened to call the police, but the couple slipped out of the auditorium and briefly confronted theater workers in the lobby — with Boebert in a low-cut gold dress waving her fingers and making threats.

“Do you know who I am?” he reportedly said, warning them that he would contact the board of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Democratic Mayor Mike Johnston.

Boebert and Gallagher were then escorted out of the venue by security officers and Denver police and walked away hand in hand, according to the incident report.

The mayor’s office told The Post that the congressman never followed up with them. A city representative also confirmed Boebert “does not serve on any City of Denver cultural commission.”

“The Denver Police Department was not involved in this incident,” a city law enforcement spokesperson also told The Post. Asked about reports that Denver police officers were present and assisted in escorting the couple away, the representative added, “We do not comment on reports from other agencies.”

“I can confirm an amazing and disgusting rumor: in her private time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice,’ which Denver described as Post himself as ‘zany,’ ‘outrageous’ and ‘a great riot,’” Boebert campaign spokesman Drew Sexton told The Post in a statement.

“He appreciates the Buell Theater’s strict enforcement of their no-picture policy and only hopes that the Biden administration will enforce our border laws thoroughly and vigorously,” he added.

“Congressman Boebert strongly encourages everyone to see ‘Beetlejuice,’ which runs at the Buell through September 17 and features a great cast, great visuals and lots of loud laughs for attendees, but with a gentle reminder to leave their phones out of the way .”

The spokesperson also said the congressman did not vape and there was a “misunderstanding from someone sitting near him” who was unaware of the “thick fog machine and electronic cigarette used during the game.”
