Leftist Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) accused President Biden of supporting the “genocide” of Palestinians on Friday and warned that voters “will not forget” in 2024.
The “Squad” lawmaker made the accusations in an attack video aimed at pressuring Biden, 80, to call for a ceasefire in Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists.
The minute-and-a-half-long video, posted on X Tlaib’s accountjuxtaposed clips of Biden pledging to “stand with Israel” and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanking the president for his “unwavering support” with footage of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza and wounded and dead Palestinians.
“Mr. President, the American people are not with you on this,” Tlaib, an outspoken critic of Israel’s response to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on the Jewish state, said in the video.
“We will remember in 2024,” he added.

Scenes of large pro-Palestinian protests in the battleground states of Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania are included in Tlaib’s video. Chants of “From river to sea,” “No peace in stolen land” and “The occupation must go” are subtitled.
“Joe Biden supports the genocide of Palestinians,” large text near the end of the clip reads. “The American people will never forget.”
“Biden, support a ceasefire now or don’t count on us in 2024,” the video further warned.

Tlaib’s message to Biden comes days after he avoided a censure vote in the House over his history of anti-Israel remarks and participation in pro-Palestinian protests last month that spilled into Capitol office buildings.
Tlaib, 47, denounced Israel’s “occupation” of the Palestinian territories a day after the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, which left more than 1,400 dead — at least 33 of whom were American citizens. More than 200 civilians were also taken hostage during the unprecedented raid.

The congressman representing Michigan’s 12th District also refused to admit that the Israeli military was not responsible for the October 17 rocket attack on Arab al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City.
Both the White House and the Israeli government have determined that the blast was caused by an errant Islamic Jihad rocket fired from the Palestinian border.
Islamic Jihad is a smaller, radical Palestinian terrorist group that often collaborates with Hamas.
Tlaib’s call for a truce was echoed by several far-left House lawmakers, including Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Cori Bush (D-Mo.), as well as Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.).
Earlier this week, Biden expressed a desire for a “pause” in the fight to “give time to get the prisoners out.”
