Despite many reports claiming that actress Lisa Kudrow plans to adopt her late actor Matthew Perry’s dog, it has been revealed that the actor did not have a dog before his death.
Perry used to have a dog that he shared with his ex-partner, Molly Hurwitz, but after their split, the dog has been in Hurwitz’s care.

Perry once had a dog, a doodle mix named Alfred, which he shared with his ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz. The two dated for four years before deciding to call it quits in 2021.
Since their split, Alfred appears to be under Hurwitz’s care and has made several appearances on her Instagram page, with the latest being a September post in which she praised the dog for bringing joy to her life.

He continued, “As the Friends reunion got closer, we rewatched the show together. ‘F—, I’m so good!!!…See what I did there???’ We rewind and study the scene. Our respect and appreciation for humor is something that connects us. Being with him as he rediscovers his brilliance is magical.”
“But, I obviously know that man in a very different way, too. Even though I love him more deeply than I can understand, he’s complicated, and he causes pain like I’ve never known. No one in my adult life has had such an impact. deeper to me than Matthew Langford Perry. I’m so grateful for that, for everything I learned from our relationship,” added Hurwitz.
He ended his tribute by saying that he was “relieved” to know that Perry was now “at peace”.
