Reshma Gulani started her acting career in 2016. She has acted in several Hindi television drama series including Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Udaan, Naamkarann, and several others. He has been featured in television commercials and music videos as well.
In 2022, she is a part of Star Bharat TV Show Swayamvar Mika Di Vohti.’ The show is about finding a life partner for famous Punjabi singer Mika Singh. The show starts airing on 19 June 2021, 8 pm onwards and is also available on Disney Hotstar. The show will be hosted by singer Shaan. Mika posted the promo on Instagram, calling it “the best show of the year.” The video begins with Shaan discussing how well he knows Mika. Mika made a dramatic entrance, wearing a long blue-black robe with various ornaments, and gestured as if searching for his bride, with the song Woh Ladki Hai Kahan playing in the background. The show features 12 single women who are willing to marry Mika. The video of the show also shows a contestant gifting Mika a small paalki and asking him to take it, after marrying her. Another caught him and pulled his cheek saying “ekdum mishti roshgulle ki tarah ho (You are like a sweet roshogulla).” Another contestant knelt down to say ‘I love you’ to Mika Singh. Other contestants on the show include Chandrani Das, Neet Mahal, Bushra Sheikh, Poonam Sood, Nisha Dube, Pratiksha Das, Divya Ra and Dhwani Pawar.
After the introduction video of the contestant was released, viewers started comparing her with Shehnaaz Gill from the show. Some viewers even say she is the ‘Shehnaaz Gill’ of the show. During an interview, Shaan talked about the show, and said,
Mika has an image of wearing sunglasses, chains and speaking in a heavy voice with attitude. But there’s a lot he hides behind his dark complexion. I know the secret. I am also very interested in human interaction, relationships. Mika isn’t very expressive so I’m going to help the girls get to know her supernatural side. I also have some experience that I can use in helping him find his life partner.”
