Revealed, an all-new home renovation series from HGTV, will put a unique twist on all of the network’s current rehab programs. It is scheduled to debut on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10pm ET. The new series will follow Veronica Valencia Hughes, a creative designer, and mother of two who will make every family’s dream come true with her amazing restoration talent.
Veronica will go further into each client’s family history to understand their social and cultural impact, which will allow her to create for the family. Viewers will be captivated not only by the impressive home improvements but also by glimpses of each client and their family history. The one-of-a-kind renovation series will include hosts learning about each family’s unique culture and history and incorporating some of that into the design and renovation of various parts of the property. Throughout the season, viewers can expect to see many dramatic and beautiful moments.

Veronica Valencia Hughes, host of the upcoming HGTV home restoration series, will draw design inspiration from her clients’ family histories, including ancestral heirlooms, artifacts and many anecdotes from the past. Taking everything, he will recreate it in the form of many designs in and around the house, giving his customers and clients an experience that allows them to appreciate their past. The official summary revealed is as follows:
“Veronica will dig deep to uncover each family’s unique history and infuse the spaces in their home with techniques, materials and heirlooms that reflect the family’s culture.” The final product will be a great, individual, and useful design with heart and purpose.
However, the host will not travel alone. He will be assisted by his experienced design team, including Tommy Rouse, lead builder David Bohler and creative artist Joshua Smith. Veronica and her crew will connect with their clients in each episode to gain a better understanding of what they need for a successful home renovation.
Revealed presenters and their crew will not only ask questions about the type of home restoration, but they will also identify their clients’ cultural identity and their family’s social and cultural history. The network has also offered viewers a sneak peek of what the first episode of the reality program will include. Veronica will be shown meeting the Billups, who want a home that honors their heritage and origins. According to HGTV, the host discovered the family’s West African ancestry and “paid homage by creating a sculpture inspired by ancient Benin Bronze.”
