‘RHOA’ Star Kenya Moore Credits Divorce ‘Standstill’ To Lack Of Prenup

Kenya Moore has had it with her prolonged divorce drama!

The model became famous after becoming the second black woman to win the Miss USA pageant in 1993 and, after that, a member of the main cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

She filed for divorce in 2021 from her husband of more than three years, Marc Daly, with whom she shares a daughter. Two years later, the divorce is still not final, and the star explains why it took so long.

The Detroit native said that’s because they don’t have a prenuptial agreement and it makes it difficult to divide their property, especially what they owned while they were still married.

When the former couple initially separated, she said, “Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue the marriage,” adding that their 4-year-old child will continue to be her priority.

He also expressed high hopes that everything would be resolved in time for the hot girl’s summer. Despite everything that’s happened, the “RHOA” star says that the divorce won’t stop her from seeing someone else.

The actress said this during the second part of the show’s reunion while chatting with host Andy Cohen. PEOPLE reports that she said, “I’m definitely going on some group dates and people are chasing me, but nothing serious yet.”

The “Waiting To Exhale” star revealed that she has been on multiple dates and feels lighter, possibly due to her booming business. The author notes that her rekindled energy is why people keep trying to introduce her to their single male friends, who also like her vibe well enough to try and reach out.

His new persona may also be what prompted him to start all over with his co-stars.

However, he realized that he would still stand up for himself, but this time better and with dignity. The “Deliver Us From Eva” actress explained that her divorce from Daly also helped boost her confidence and regain her authentic self.

Moore went on to state that the fourteenth season was about him figuring out his life and getting back to who he was before, adding, “It was all fun, and I took my power back.”
