Shamea Morton Had a Rough Pregnancy Journey

The local radio host was happy to announce the news on her Instagram that she is expecting after a difficult round of trying. He also drops the bomb they use as a substitute. “We will give birth through surrogacy!” he posted.

“Such a long journey! 7 rounds of IVF, failed transfer…etc. I wanted to bring but God had other plans. ?? He always knows best! I am very grateful ?. I’m pregnant! ?.” He erupted.

She also shared a cute photo of herself and her husband with a sign that read “Bayi Mgwani due 2023” she scattered needles and pill bottles around the sign. She lay on the grass with her husband with big, excited smiles on their faces.

The reality star didn’t go into too much detail about her failed IVF treatment but she did say that it was a long and difficult process only to be unsuccessful in the end. But, let’s be honest, everything happens for a reason and this can be a blessing in disguise.

She and her husband, Gerald Mwangi, a local businessman and president of a mechanical contracting firm, share one daughter to date, Shya, 4. Morton has appeared on RHOA for the past 8 seasons in a “friend” role. He is good friends with Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss.

Briefly, in the show, she wonders if she wants more babies but never says whether she’s actively trying or just gets emotional when she sees her friends get pregnant and their newborns.

The 40-year-old’s comments were filled with messages of excitement, joy, and love for Morton and his family. Burruss was among the first to comment, “Congratulations!!!❤️❤️❤️ ❤️,” he wrote. Former RHOA co-star Cynthia bailey wrote, “congrats favorite couple!”

Other cast members who showed their love included Sheree Whitfield, Kenya Moore, and newcomer Monyetta Shaw who wrote, “Congratulations again hun!!! I am so happy for you both.”
