Real Housewives of Miami star Guerdy Abraira wore a 25-pound dress to this year’s reunion and it was all her design.
Guerdy Abraira Creates Something Amazing

Event planners spray exclusively to PEOPLE about everything her clothes. “It went out of my mind,” he said of the look. “I’m an event designer and this is the best event, honey.”
Guerdy shared that he got the idea for the outfit when the actor realized that the theme was the James Bond aesthetic. “I was Googling textures and fabrics and materials,” she recalls. “And then I got this idea and started looking for ‘chains’ and ‘chain dresses.’”
Guerdy finally found the material she wanted but the style of the dress, was not the style of the reality star. So, naturally, the solution was to recycle terms he knew well as an event planner.
“I liked the chain on it but I didn’t like the way it was made and the way it looked, so I ended up buying this dress and cutting it up,” she said.
Guerdy Abraira Had To Buy That Dress Twice

To get the amount of material she needed, the mother of two had to buy two old dresses just for the extra material. “Actually, I bought two of those dresses, and then we rebuilt them into the look I wanted.”
She enlisted the help of Celestino Couture, a fashion created by Sergio Guadarram of Project Runway fame. Guerdy was very impressed with the final appearance. “They did an amazing job,” he said of the team. “They really brought to life everything I could imagine perfectly.”
25 Pounds Later And Guerdy Abraira ‘Feels It’
At first, it was all fun and games but Guerdy admits it didn’t take long for the clothes to start to affect him. “I was standing the whole time and afterwards, my clavicle was completely black and blue,” Guerdy recalled. “I do not believe!”
The reunion lasted 14 hours and thankfully, Guerdy was able to sit for most of it, and while he said “It wasn’t too bad,” the bruises on his body said otherwise, But, it was either that or his cast mates showed up.

The bespoke gown was paired with Stuart Weitzman heels and Diamonds on the Key Jewelry. Guerdy looked naked under the dress but she was actually wearing a custom-made flesh-colored bodysuit also created by Celestino Couture. “If one thing comes up…it’s definitely a Britney or Janet Jackson moment!” joked Guerdy who took a few shots in the rematch against Alexia Nepola.
Andy Cohen approved of the sassy outfit before getting caught up in a behind-the-scenes moment between the two. “Andy came in, he was like, ‘Oh my god’. I was like, ‘Andy, are you turning straight?’ ” he recalled to the publication. “He was dead. He was obsessed with it. I was like, ‘This is great.’ “
Guerdy has gotten over himself and is already thinking about how he can top it next year. “It will be difficult to set the bar for next year, but I will have so many ideas in my head, I could do this all day.”
