In November 2016, Rida’s private intimate video was leaked, which went viral on the internet. In November 2022, after six years, during an interview, she accused her ex-fiancé of recording and leaking her videos online. Rida’s ex-husband, Salman Sheikh, revealed his fiance’s name as Syed through a video on his Facebook handle. Syed works as a director of photography in the Pakistani film industry. Rida’s parents were against their marriage as she was from a different community, but Rida, somehow, convinced her parents about their marriage.
