Fans are in high gear with the 95th Academy Awards just around the corner, and Rihanna is ready to show off her big baby bump.
Unfortunately, unlike the recent Super Bowl LVII, his son won’t be joining him this time, and he can’t bear to see his mother leave him for the event.
Rihanna Shows Her Son’s Reaction After Realizing She Won’t Be Attending the Oscars
The 95th Oscars are set for Sunday, March 13, at the Dolby Theater in LA, and Rihanna is counting down to grace the world with a notary performance. However, as she prepared, she informed her millions of fans that her first child, who she shares with A$AP Rocky, would not be attending.

On Instagram, the pop icon dropped three adorable photos of the little one along with a message hinting at her reaction to finding out she won’t be attending the Oscars. “My son, when he finds out his sister will be attending the Oscars and not him,” she wrote, tagging the Academy and adding an Oscar-related hashtag.
At the end of the Barbadian singer’s message, she urged her followers to swipe to see her “fat man’s” back view, referring to her son.
Her words described the first slide of the broadcast, showing her growing baby boy – whose name has yet to be released – held from above and in tears. He can be seen standing on a cushioned platform and holding a black surface while looking sadly into the camera.
The following slide features a video of her watching her mom’s music video for her song, “Lift Me Up” — which she will perform at the Oscars — on a laptop. He was very small and excitedly moved his hands as he watched.
In the final photo, the toddler is shot from the side as he is glued to his mother’s laptop while an unidentified woman, possibly Rihanna, sits him on her lap.

Over six million fans were unsurprisingly captivated by the update, including celebrities like Cara Deleivgne, Ashley Graham, Gigi Hadid, Viola Davis, Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin, and of course, baby daddy Rocky who all didn’t comment.
“MR MAYERS,” “Live. Love A$ AP star” wrote, alongside a red heart emoji, while many other supporters expressed the youngster’s reaction to being sidelined.
“Being on the cover of Vogue twice isn’t enough?!” one commenter wondered aloud, adding, “lol, she’s so sweet.” Another fan jokingly stated, “Why is she complaining, she already performed in the Met Gala when they built a marble statue in her honor.”
Another admirer believed Rihanna’s son’s reaction was justified as they pointed out that “the other sibling” was inducted into the Super Bowl and will now be at the Oscars.
The 35-year-old superstar’s stunning performance at the awards ceremony was initially announced in late February by The Academy on social media. It was also mentioned that he will perform the original song “Lift Me Up” from the award-winning Marvel movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
“Lift Me Up” was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Original Song category, and Rihanna shared the nom with musician Tems, writer and director Ryan Coogler, and composer Ludwig Göransson.
The award marks the fashion mogul’s first Oscar nomination, while her performance will be her first at an Academy Awards ceremony.
Additionally, it will be his first performance at an awards show since the 2018 Grammys, where he was awarded Best Rap/Song Performance for “LOYALTY” with Kendrick Lamar.
The ‘Love On The Brain’ Singer And His Partner Raised Their Son Alone After His Birth
After the birth of Rihanna and Rocky’s first child, they didn’t seem to hire a nanny or help because they were fully responsible for taking care of the boy. The billionaire entrepreneur revealed this in an interview with British Vogue where he spoke candidly about taking a break from work and other commitments to focus on the newborn.
“We came home, sold turkeys, had no one,” she said of their return from the hospital after giving birth. “It’s just us parents and our baby.
The parent’s decision was completely unhelpful as she explained that the little one had a lot of tantrums during their first few days at home, keeping them awake several nights.

“The first few days were crazy,” he said. “You don’t sleep. at all. Not even if you wanted to – you’re a zombie for the most part.”
