Rio Kapadia played the role of Shankaran in the Bollywood film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ (2001). He gained immense popularity for playing the role of an Australian commentator in the film ‘Chak De! India’ (2007). In 2008, he played the role of Rensil in the film ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan,’ starring R. Madhavan.
In 2012, he appeared in the film ‘Agent Vinod’ where he played the role of Alay Khan. He appeared in several more films including ‘Aakhari Decision’ (2010), ‘Shree’ (2013), ‘Mardaani’ (2014), ‘Happy New Year’ (2014), and ‘Khuda Hafiz’ (2020).
