Madelaine Petsch posted a reel to Instagram of her trying on various outfits for the holiday season. The first one worn by the “Riverdale” actress consisted of a beige skirt and matching crop top with an all-over gold overlay design. To complete the look, Petsch wore a matching blazer that made the outfit more professional — perfect for a work Christmas party.
The second outfit consisted of a gold sequin dress with a similar gold overlay design, again, complete with a sequined blazer jacket.
In the third, Petsch switched colors and went with a bold purple dress, which had sequins all over and had puffy fur-lined sleeves. The actress was glowing as she grabbed purple sequin platform heels to complete the look.
“Tis the season… to be skeptical ✨ @maisonvalentino #valentinothepartycollection,” she captioned the post.

“Riverdale” has aired on the CW since 2017. The show is based on the Archie Comics series and stars KJ Apaas as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Vanessa Morgan as Toni Topaz, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, and Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy.
As “Riverdale” now comes to an end, Madelaine Petsch talks about her role, Cheryl Blossom, and how she was able to get in and out of the character — and how that has taught her about ways to improve herself for future projects.
“Cheryl talks really fast and I found that when Riverdale ended, I had to save myself from that,” he told Collider. “So that’s probably something that needs to be left in the dust. And things that I’m looking forward to exploring? All kinds of things. I’ve definitely been able to dive into a lot of other projects and I’m very grateful and happy and loving them all.”
Petsch stars in a new holiday movie, “Hotel for the Holidays,” which he also talks about. “I just did Hotel for the Holidays and I think doing comedy and light work is really fun,” he continued. “I really want to do more comedy and have fun on set [laughs]and not just crying and running away from monsters and serial killers all the time.”
The seventh and final season of “Riverdale” is expected to air in 2023 on the CW. Seasons one through six are currently streaming on Netflix.
