RJ Rachana is a South Indian radio jockey. He died of a heart attack on February 22, 2022.

RJ Rachana aka Rachana Bharadwaj was born in 1983 (age 39 years; at time of death) in Chamrajpet, Bengaluru. Later, he moved to Jayaprakash Nagar, Bangalore, for his work. He got his Masters in Mass Communication from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru.

Career
From 8th grade until graduation, he worked as a TV host. While he was pursuing his master’s degree, he worked as a radio presenter at World Space Satellite Radio. Later, he joined Radio Mirchi as a prime time host, and then he started working at Radio City. She works as a digital marketer, freelance voice artist and food stylist. He gained immense popularity for his unique style of RJing. He started with evening shows, but after his growing popularity, he has switched to morning shows. In 2013, he played the role of an RJ in the Kannada film ‘Simple Aag Ondu Love Story’ (2013) starring Rakshit Shetty and Shwetha Srivatsav.

Death
On February 22, 2022, he complained of chest pain while at his residence in Jayaprakash Nagar, Bangalore. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Reportedly, he has battled depression before.
RJ Pradeep (Radio Gilli 106.5 FM) uploaded a post on his Instagram account and wrote,
May your soul rest in peace RJ Rachana. He is definitely one of the best Jocks of Namma Bengaluru. Heart attack at this young age. What is happening.”
