Rob Patterson rose to fame after joining the metal band ‘Otep,’ which had a female lead singer. During his time with the band, he contributed by composing and performing on various albums including ‘Smash the Control Machine’, ‘House of Secrets’, and ‘Sevas Tras’. After the departure of Brian Welch in mid-2005, he became the touring guitarist for the American nu metal band Korn. The band released numerous studio albums during that period, including ‘See You on the Other Side’ and an untitled album in 2007.
