Robert Loggia served in the United States Army. At the age of 25, he made his Broadway debut in the play The Man with the Golden Arm. Eric played Frankie Peppo in the 1956 film Somebody Up There Likes Me. Later he appeared in The Three Sisters (1966), SOB (1981), Big (1988), Lifepod (1993), The Deal (2005), and many other films.

Real Gangsters (2013), No Deposit (2015), The Red Maple Leaf (2016), and Cries of the Unborn (2017) are his latest films. Robert made his television debut in episodes of Wagon Train and Alcoa Present: One Step Beyond in 1959. He portrayed Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat on THE Cat for 26 episodes from 1966 to 1967.

Death

Robert died of Alzheimer’s disease on December 4, 2015, at the age of 85. In 2010, he was diagnosed with it. He died at his home in Brentwood.
