Rocky Jaiswal was born on February 14 in Kolkata, West Bengal. He did his schooling from Kolkata. He came to Mumbai to make his career in film making and production. He has worked in the Indian TV industry for more than a decade.

Rocky Jaiswal worked as a supervising producer for the old show ‘Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, where he met his lady love, the show’s lead Hina Khan. Although, they were ‘just friends’ for a long time, eventually their friendship turned into love. Both are quite secretive about their love life, and hardly anyone knows about their relationship. One fine day, Hina Khan posted a picture with him, on her social media account and mentioned him as her best friend. His post angered many and Rocky’s social media feed was filled with different questions, which he answered with another post, with the caption, “I’m not a celebrity guy, I’m just his best friend.”

Even after denying their relationship, Rocky made a special appearance in the reality show ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’ (2017), to meet Hina Khan, who was one of the contestants of the show. Later in 2017, when Hina Khan participated in another reality TV show Bigg Boss 11, Rocky Jaiswal appeared on the show as a member of her family, and both accepted their love for each other on national television.

Despite being in the TV industry for a long time, he rose to fame with his appearance in Bigg Boss 11 as Hina Khan’s boyfriend and gathered a huge fan following on his different social media handles.

Rocky Jaiswal has been in a relationship, with his colleague from the sets of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ actress Hina Khan, for a long time. He is the supervising producer, and Hina Khan is the lead actress of the show. The two became good friends and fell in love. Both have never confessed about their relationship with their fans. But during Bigg Boss 11, they couldn’t hide it anymore, for Hina Khan, Rocky proved to be the most visible support. On 31 March 2018, Rocky proposed to Hina Khan while riding a hot air balloon in Dubai and the two got engaged.

Career

Rocky Jaiswal completed his education from his hometown Kolkata. Despite having a family business, in Kolkata, he moved to Mumbai to try his luck in film making and started assisting in various TV projects. He has been in the TV industry for more than ten years and has worked with leading production companies. He is the supervising producer for ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Later in 2017, he quit his job and founded his production house with his fiancee Hina Khan called ‘Faar Better Films’ where he produces, commercials, short films, web series, TV/serials, films, and also handles event management.

Rocky Jaiswal also launched an app called ‘Rockabyte’ for those who want a platform to represent themselves as entertainers and showcase their talent. He has acquired other businesses including a wedding planning company.
