Fight with Katrina Kaif
In 2020, Rohit courted controversy when he was criticized by fans of actress Katrina Kaif after she made sexist remarks against him. In an interview, he revealed that while talking to Katrina about a scene in the film ‘Sooryavanshi,’ he said,
Katrina, I will tell you honestly, no one will look at you.”
The statement was made about the scene where Katrina was seen with Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. Later, Katrina took to social media and said,
Dear and Respected Friends… I usually do not comment on media reports or articles… But in this case, I feel the comments made by Rohit Sir have been taken out of context and have been completely misunderstood. I was referring to the comment as reported that Rohit Shetty said, ‘No one will see me in the frame, because there are three boys there and there is an explosion.”
