Powell, a former football star, is just 32 years old and a few months away from turning 33. Ronald Powell was born on May 14, 1991, in Riverside, California, United States. He attended Rancho Verde High School and played defensive end, linebacker, and tight end. Powell is one of the most sought after high school recruits in the country. Then, after high school, he got an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida.
As a freshman in 2010, he started one game and played in 13 others. He became a regular starter for the Gators in his sophomore season, appearing and starting in 12 games. During his football career, he played for the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, and Orlando Apollos.
