Roseanne Barr seems to hold a grudge against her ex Roseanne co-star, Sara Gilbert. Apparently, he didn’t have enough back.

The 68-year-old actor spoke with Megyn Kelly on his Sirius XM radio show, where he spilled some surprising stories about his Hollywood friendships. She walks into her daughter’s TV blaming her for canceling the reboot Roseanne.
Gilbert who played Darlene Connor allegedly “stabbed” Barr in the back and continued to “spin her” “repeatedly”. He was honest with Kelly. “It wasn’t enough that he stabbed me in the back and did what he did to me there, but then he would go on his talk show every day and talk about how appalled he was by my racism on him.”
He later claimed Gilbert, “It was his tweet that canceled the show.” In case you missed it, Barr tweeted something vile about a political figure and was basically canceled for it.

The actor went berserk with former adviser to the president, Valerie Jarrett, comparing him to a monkey, a racist comment about Jarrett being a person of color. Barr was called out online and mobbed by others offended by her public comments.
Now, he’s claiming that Gilbert’s tweets are what got the show canceled. Barr recalled to Kelly. “And then he tweeted ‘It’s sad when an actor…’ something about racism, blah, blah. And I was bedridden. I’m just bedridden. And you know, but he ended up owning my work and Tom Werner became his partner in owning my work.
Gilbert eventually became an executive producer on the retitled reboot The Connors. He called Barr’s tweet “disgusting” and also expressed “disappointment” in his own tweet.

The actor slammed Gilbert in 2019 as well when he told The Washington Post “[Sara] destroyed my show and my life with that tweet.” In response, Gilbert and his men kept things diplomatic.
His publicist told Hollywood life exclusively,”[Sara] try to remember Roseanne for all the good times they had together instead of what has happened in the last year or so. Barr tries to restore his good name, he apologizes to Jarret.
Barr called the tweet a “bad joke” and blamed it on political culture. “I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I’m really sorry for making bad jokes about politics and his looks.”

Barr continued. “I should have known better. I’m sorry-my joke is not good,” he concluded his statement. “I’m sorry, I’m now leaving Twitter.” Many people banned together to blacklist the comedian for his weird tweets.
Wanda Sykes was a consulting producer on the Roseanna reboot, she immediately quit the show. He tweeted. “I will never go back to @RoseanneOnABC.” Just 11 days after announcing season 2 had been picked up the cast has put out a mini fire all over the internet.
