Roshni Tanwi Bhattacharya was born on 20 September in Kolkata, West Bengal. He completed his schooling from St.Stephen’s School, Dum Dum. Then Roshni went to Calcutta University to pursue her degree.

Career
Roshni began her acting career by playing a supporting role in the drama serial Baksho Bodol in 2017. After making her debut, she got the chance to reprise the lead role of Pekhom alongside Joey Debroy as Hridayharan in the romantic comedy drama serial Hriday Haran Pas BA. This series is directed by famous director Bijoy Maji in 2018-20. After becoming popular, she appeared in the Star Jalsha serial Mon Phagun as a supporting actor.
In 2021, Roshni got a call to play the lead role of Shruti Banerjee in the magical drama daily soap opera Falna co-starring Hiye Dey, Meghan Chakraborty and Debojyoti Roy Chowdhury. After 2022, she gained huge popularity for acting in the family romantic drama serial Tumii Je Amar Maa, playing the lead role of Ruddhima alongside Suman Dey and Priya Mondal. The series aired on the popular Bengali TV channel Colors Bangla.
