Just a few days ago, Rumer and Thomas sang sweetly together at their baby shower. As we reported, the couple had an intimate baby shower with their loved ones in attendance.
However, Rumer’s father, Bruce, was not present at the party, but his mother and stepmother, Emma Heming Willis attended the happy moment. The legendary actor’s absence may be attributed to his health condition. Bruce was recently diagnosed with dementia which worsened after battling aphasia.
Additionally, Rumer’s sisters, Tallulah, Scout, Evelyn, and Mabel Willis, were part of her special day, including her “DWTS” classmate Petra Murgatroyd. From images capturing the special moment, the mother-to-be looks stunning in a figure-hugging white dress. The clothing item detailed her adorable baby bump, which her siblings cradled in one snap.
Rumer was excited about her first baby shower even though her father wasn’t there. The actor expressed his joy at being blessed with the right support system. “I feel grateful and happy to be surrounded by many people I love,” he said.
She went on to share that she had “a lot of fun” at the event, partly due to her singing with her partner, who played the piano for all the guests.

Rumer is confident her unborn baby will be just like the toddlers on film, and she relayed it in her caption. He wrote, “This will be 100% @dereckrichardthomas and my son.”

This is not the first time the 34-year-old woman has given an update on her pregnancy. Previously, she shared the positive changes that came with her pregnancy. She revealed that she started setting boundaries almost immediately after finding out she was expecting.
“It made me upgrade so fast,” he revealed. “Like things where I used to have that nature of being a nice person or not defending myself for little things that would later get under my skin.”
Rumer added that she has changed her mind and started speaking up for herself. She recalls, “I would say literally, maybe even a week after I got pregnant, all of a sudden, it was like, no, no, that’s not going to work for me anymore.”
