The woman who claims Russell Brand raped her against the wall of his Los Angeles home in 2012 said she recognized the “demons beneath” his health persona as she revealed more details of their sordid affair on Sunday.
The unidentified woman, who goes by the pseudonym Nadia, poked fun at Brand’s online presence as a health influencer who has gained a huge following online in recent years.
“He said one thing and I knew the devil underneath,” he told the UK’s Sunday Times, which broke the story with UK’s Channel 4 Dispatches.
“He wants to help with meditation, he’s all in this health world … It makes me so angry that he has a platform for this.”
The woman decided to go public after she learned that a story about various accusations against her was being written.
“What do I want from this?” he added. “Just for him to stop … I’m just sick of seeing guys get away with this.”
Brand, 48, is accused of rape, sexual assault and sexual abuse by four women between 2006 and 2013 during the height of his career.

The “Get Him to the Greek” actor has vehemently denied the allegations and insisted that all relationships were consensual.
Nadia claims she met the comedian at an event in Los Angeles and was raped by the star a few months later after she rejected his offer for a threesome. He also wrote to Brand following the alleged attack in hopes of regaining “some of his power in the process,” the newspaper reported.
The woman, who was in her 30s at the time, said she introduced herself to Brand, then 37, during an after-party for a “trial run” for his new show “Brand X.”
He leaned in and kissed her immediately, she claims and the two began exchanging texts in May 2012 after the party.
The following month, she said the couple had consensual sex at Brand’s Hollywood home.
“I went and we had sex. He was like, ‘Do you want to use a condom or not use a condom?’ and I was like ‘No, we use condoms,'” she told the Sunday Times. “And she respected my wishes.”

A few days later, Brand suggested in a text that she “bring a friend” and he also said, “I think I need a little chaos,” Nadia claimed.
She saw Brand again on July 1, 2012, after he called her and begged her to come over.
When she entered his unlocked door, he allegedly came out of her bedroom naked and began kissing her, which she called “kind of fun” before things took a turn for the worse.
“He pushed me against the wall. I was like, ‘What are you doing?’ And he was like ‘I have a friend here and I, I want you to come into the bedroom,’” she claimed. “I was like, ‘No, that’s not happening, we’re not doing that.'”
She then tried to escape and move to another wall, but Brand followed her and allegedly raped her without a condom, the Sunday Times reported.
After wondering how he was “going to get out of here alive,” he finally managed to escape to his car.
“I’m sorry,” Brand allegedly texted her at 3:29 a.m., the newspaper reported. “That’s crazy and selfish. I hope you can forgive me, I know you are a good person. X.”
He also tried to call her, but she did not pick up, with multiple sources confirming the phone number to the Sunday Times. Nadia then responded, telling Brand she needed help while texting him that she was sorry and that she would make it up to him, according to the news outlet.
The alleged victim was treated at a rape crisis center the same day, according to medical records cited by the newspaper.
Later that year, Nadia sent Brand a letter that was originally meant to stay between her and her therapist.
“You know what you put me through? my body through? My emotions and body turned upside down. . . You scared me on July 1st, I thought in any case I would be strong enough to fight someone oh,” part of the letter reported by the Sunday Times read.
“But when it’s someone you know, you don’t expect to be put in that position. You completely destroyed me.”
