Russell Brand Was Interrogated By Police In 2014 Over Alleged Sexual Assault Of A Masseuse

More chilling details have emerged in relation to comedian Russell Brand, as a case nine years ago revealed earlier allegations of sexual assault following an encounter with a masseuse.

Additionally, one of Brand’s accusers wants the law changed to prevent people like the actor from engaging in sexual activities with girls under the age of 18.

The woman, who was 16 while Brand was 31 when they dated, said it should be a “criminal offence,” but added that women of that age should still be allowed to explore their sexuality.

The recent accusations against Russell Brand are not surprising, given his previous run-ins with the law regarding a 2014 sexual misconduct incident.

According to reports, at the time, the comedian was questioned by the police following an official complaint from a woman who claimed she had been “sexually touched” when she came to her house to do her masseuse work.

The woman initially told authorities she was traumatized by the alleged incident, which she said lasted 40 minutes. She went on to state that Brand gave her the agreed-upon payment despite not giving her a massage, and that he forcibly evicted her from her home because she protested.

On the other hand, the “Despicable Me 2” star vehemently denied the allegations. Eventually, the case against him was dropped, apparently due to insufficient evidence.

Amidst Brand’s troubles, one of his accusers has called for changes in the law to prevent men in their 30s from having sex with 16-year-old girls.

Known as Alice, the woman is one of four women who claim that the actor assaulted them at the height of his Hollywood fame.

She dated the actress when she was 16 and he was 31, and now feels that it should be illegal for him to have sex with her at that age.

The man who is now 33 years old said, per The Sunday Times“I believe 16 and 17-year-olds should be allowed to explore their sexuality without undue influence from older people.”

He added, “There needs to be a phased consent – change to the law. The age of consent could remain at 16, but I think it’s reasonable to recommend that it’s a criminal offense for someone over 21 to engage in sexual activity with someone under 18 years old.”

Before Alice went public, another woman came forward, claiming that Russell Brand had raped her in his Los Angeles home.

Referred to as Nadia, she told The Times that this incident occurred on the morning of July 1, 2012. After agreeing to meet him, he visited her home, but Brand suggested that he engage in sexual activity with her and a friend waiting in his bedroom.

Nadia claims that she refused his offer, but when she tries to leave, Brand pushes her against the wall, pulls her panties and moves her aside.

Since the recent accusations began to blow, Brand has faced backlash from various quarters, which led to his online platform being demonetized.

However, it seems the actor is taking things in stride, as he recently posted a clip of himself on Instagram thanking his fans for their support in the midst of his hardships.

In the video, he claims that the British government is working with big tech platforms to censor his online content. He described it as a malicious act “to target, control, strangle and shut down independent media organizations.”

Meanwhile, she has posted a video in which she says all her sexual interactions with her accuser were consensual.

“Now, during that free association, the relationship I have is always consensual,” he said. “I was always transparent about it then, almost too transparent, and I’m transparent about it now.”
