On Friday, April 14, Ryan Seacrest taped his final appearance as co-host on “LIVE With Kelly and Ryan”. Shortly after the episode aired, the radio host took to social media to say his final goodbye.

“I will miss my Live family, there is no other place like it…,” she began writing. “I’ll miss the red herring, the spill in the air, the street snow angel to ride on, to break the world record (or try to), to the Halloween show (that’s actually a lie, that shows a lot of work and no one works harder than the crew and producer to make it all happen), I will miss Estherrrr who makes everything run smoothly, I will miss Deja’s energy every morning, Art Moore and his infectious enthusiasm, Gelman’s briefings that usually end in a discussion about last night’s dinner, and Kelly our leader and family to me.”

He continued, “I’m going to miss all of that, especially sharing a cup of coffee with everyone in the morning, watching at home. I am very grateful and honored to have been a part of it for 6 years. Thank you. See you this Sunday on American Idol from Hawaii ?.”

Ryan Seacrest announced he would be leaving the ABC show via an Instagram post, shared on February 16, 2023.

“I will miss my working wife and all the laughs we shared,” he captioned the post, which included several photos of him and his co-host, Kelly Ripa. “When I signed up to host Live in 2017, it was supposed to be for 3 years, but I loved the job and working with Kelly so much that I extended my time and last year I decided to stay for one more final season. . I’m grateful to be able to share a cup of coffee with our audience every day, one of the best parts of the gig.”

“I’ll be transitioning from Live this Spring to filming American Idol season 21 in LA, continuing my radio show on KIIS-FM and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Night, and devoting my summer to opening three more Ryan Seacrest Foundation Studios at the hospital children across the country,” he continued to write. “I can’t wait to return to guest host in the future and Kelly, I promise to share photos of food, eggs and olive oil with you forever. And congratulations to my brother Mark, please makeover my dressing room!”

Mark Consuelos will take over as the new co-host of ABC’s “LIVE” next week with his wife, Kelly Ripa.
