Ryan Tham was born on Sunday, April 18, 1982 (age 39 years; in 2021) in Mumbai. His zodiac sign is Aries. He attended GD Somani Memorial School Mumbai and HR College to complete his schooling. After that, he moved to Australia’s Griffith University to continue his studies in Business and Restaurant Management (2004). Raised in a family of prominent restaurateurs, Ryan wanted to run his own restaurant since he was a teenager. When Ryan returned from Australia, his grandfather’s 45-year-old Mandarin restaurant had closed (2003), and his father, Henry, had set up a high-end restaurant bar in its place. Ryan Tham’s father, Henry Tham, is a restaurateur. His mother’s name is Ashitta Tham (Bengali). He has a younger brother, Keenan Tham, who is also a restaurateur. His brother, Keenan is married to Neha Tham who owns Pause Fashion, a women’s clothing store in Mumbai.
His paternal grandfather, Mon Yiu Tham, was a restaurateur who established the two oldest Chinese restaurants in Mumbai (Mandarin and Kamling). His maternal grandfather, Laxmichand Gupta, was a merchant. Her maternal grandmother’s name is Reba Gupta.
Wife
Ryan tied the knot with Indian actress Minissha Lamba in a private ceremony on July 6, 2015. The two divorced in 2020.

Famous Indian film actor Kabir Bedi is his uncle. The late Indian classical dancer Protima Bedi is his aunt. Pooja Bedi (actress and talk show host) is Ryan’s first cousin.

Career
Ryan started his career in 2004 by helping his father in his restaurant ‘Henry Tham.’ In 2010, Ryan and his brother closed Henry Tham and launched ‘Trilogy,’ a nightclub at Sea Princess Hotel, Juhu. The restaurant closed in 2017. Speaking about Trilogy in an interview, Ryan said,
Most music festivals will host their pre and post parties there. Nightclubs usually last two to three years. Our target is to last three New Years; we got seven.”
In 2014, Ryan and his brother Keenan established Pebble Street Hospitality with four of their friends from GD Somani Memorial School. The company’s first launch was The Good Wife, a modern European gastropub in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
The next opening is “Koko” (meaning brother in Chinese), an Asian-themed gastropub at Kamala Mills (opened in 2016).
Pebble Street Hospitality also includes ‘Foo,’ an Asian bistro located in Lower Parel, Mumbai.
