Sabah Galadari is an Arab media heiress based in Dubai. She is the ex-wife of Pakistani singer and musician Adnan Sami (she got Indian citizenship in 2015). The couple married twice and divorced twice as well.

Sabah Galadari married Adnan Sami in 2001 and divorced in 2003. It was the second marriage and Adnan’s second marriage as well. In 2008, Galadari remarried Adnan Sami, and after living together for a year, she filed for divorce against him in 2009, accusing him of harassing and abusing her. However, Adnan Sami claims that she is not his wife because she did not complete the Nikah Halala formalities, which are required under Islamic marriage law, before remarrying the same person. In an interview, he talked about this and said,
According to Islamic marriage law, technically she was never my wife at all. Despite him, my religion allows me to have three wives.”
In 2012, the court finalized the couple’s divorce under the Dissolution of Muslim Marriages Act, 1939. He has a son named Abdullah from his first marriage.

Property Disputes
In 2014, the Bombay High Court ordered Adnan Sami to vacate his duplex at Oberoi Sky Garden in Lokhanwala, Mumbai where he lived with his then third wife. The court asked him to give the flat and maintenance of Rs 6.24 crore to his ex-wife Sabah Galadari. Sabah claims that Adnan’s duplex house was created by combining five flats on the 13th and 14th floors of the building, of which he gifted two flats to him in 2009. Sabah filed a suit against Adnan Sami to occupy his gift deed; however, he denied the allegations. Adnan then agreed to buy his two apartments on the 12th floor of the same building.
Cases of smuggling and Fraud
In an interview, Adnan Sami revealed that he had filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police Commissioner against Sabah, alleging that he and his family hid their Portuguese citizenship from the Dubai government, which was considered an illegal activity there. He claimed that he had two passports with different dates of birth, moreover, he received a pan card and a driving license in India based on those passports. He added that Sabah Galadari and his father have a smuggling business in Dubai.

- In an interview, Adnan Sami’s brother Junaid Sami claimed that Adnan Sami had recorded several videos of his 2nd wife’s objections to be taken to court. He said,
This thing makes me sick. I wouldn’t do that to my girlfriend! Adnan Sami made a DVD ap*rn of his 2nd wife Sabah Galadaeri around 2007 or 2008. Ok…Abominable things can happen between husband and wife…BUT KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! Adnan Sami gave it in court – for the whole of India to see – lied he didn’t make it and Sabah’s lover did! All lies! Sabah passed out in court I was told.”
