Sahil Khattar is known to be dating Indian playback singer and lyricist Shruti Pathak. The couple has been dating each other since 2018 but didn’t accept to make it public until 2019 when Sahil Khattar commented on Shruti’s birthday post letting their fans know their relationship status. Radio
Sahil Khattar, after completing his formal education, started working as a radio jockey. He hosts a show called “Love Guru” for Radio Mirchi, a local radio station of Chandigarh.
Television host
Sahil Khattar has hosted a series of reality television shows. To co-host the sixth season of the Indian dance reality show “Dance India Dance.” The show is judged by Mudassar Khan, Marzi Pestonji, and Mini Pradhan, and co-hosted by Sahil Khattar and Amruta Khanvilkar. Later, he also hosted several other reality shows including India’s Raw Star and India’s Got Talent.

Sahil Khattar is making his debut in 2021 with the Sarthak Dasgupta and Alok Batra directed crime thriller ‘200 Halla Ho.’ The film depicts the true story of the incident that took place in 2004 where 200 Dalit women united and took legal action against Akku Yadav, a thug, robber, serial rapist and murderer. Sahil Khattar played an important character named Bali Choudhary in the film and received great appreciation for it. The film was released digitally on August 20, 2021.
In the same year, Sahil Khattar also appeared in the Hindi-language sports film ’83.’ The film was first announced in September 2017 by Reliance Entertainment and Vibri Media. The companies organized an event to announce the film with the team that had won the 1983 World Cup before filming. The shooting of the film began on 5 June 2019 in England and the film was announced to release on 24 December 2021. Sahil Khattar plays the role of Syed Kirmani, a former Indian cricketer who was part of the Indian team that won the World Cup in 1983. . The role of Kirmani was offered to Sahil because of her resemblance to him. Sahil, during an interview, revealed that he got the role because of his looks. He said,
The good thing is that I never auditioned for the role. It was given to me after seeing my face. I look like Syed Kirmani’s twin brother. So when the film came to me, I was actually in a good frame of mind where I could recognize the potential of this film.”

The main cast of the film includes Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and R Badree. Sahil Khattar had to go through intense training sessions to perform the role of Syed Kirmani. He did many hours of clean training and suffered many injuries. Talking about her preparation for the role, she said,
I have injured all parts of my body, including my hands, feet and back, all of which are swollen while playing the game. We were told to do 250 squats every day. I thought after Beyonce, my back should be insured. Because of training, I became so fit while shooting for the film.”

In 2011, he ventured out of Chandigarh to explore the field of entertainment in Mumbai. When he told his parents about the same, his mother tried her best to keep him in their town and his father insisted him to join their family business. To pursue his dream of becoming an entertainment king, he lied to his family by telling them that he was going to attend a reality show and would be back in just a month. Sahil Khattar made his television debut in 2011 with the comedy dating show “Date Trap” aired on UTV Bindass. He acted in several episodes of the show. He got his next StarPlus comedy reality show “Komedi Ka Maha Muqabala.”

Sahil Khattar rose to fame after he started appearing in comedy videos for the YouTube channel “Being Indian.” Talking about his relationship with “Being Indian,” he said,
It gave me a second lifeline to my career. There are times when I have no work. Things changed after ‘Being Indian’ came into my life, and I have never looked back since then and I never intend to either. We started it hoping this would work and it did. We created that market when YouTube didn’t exist anymore.”
In November 2021, Sahil Khattar became the co-owner of the YouTube channel ‘Being Indian.’ The channel was initially created by Culture Machine and later sold to another company. Sahil Khattar used to perform sketch comedy through the channel and gained huge popularity for the same. Recalling the old days he told stories,
Earlier ‘Being Indian’ used to be published in sketches and non-fiction but now we are going to do long form content as well. So, we’ll be streaming web series, sketches, skits and street interviews. I’m glad things are under my control and I’ll figure out what the programming is. We’ll be doing live shows like Saturday Night, lots of talk shows, comedy sketches, reaction videos and blogs and FIFA shows too.”
Sahil Khattar also has his own YouTube channel name “Khattarnaak.” He proudly accepted his choice to start his own YouTube channel. When asked about it, he said,
Thank God, because I stepped out and opened my own YouTube channel in between and I started getting a lot of offers. There is no great proof of my talent other than ‘Being Indian’. It is an honor and a pleasure to be associated with him.”
