She started her career as a model. She has worked for over 100 TV commercials and has modeled for many photo shoots. He made his film debut as an actor with the Kannada film “Software Ganda” in 2014.
He made his Tamil film debut with the film “Yoogan” in 2015.
He made his first Malayalam film with the film “Orayiram Kinakkalal” in 2018.

- Sakshi was in controversy over her swimsuit act in the movie “Ka Ka Ka Po (2016).” In an interview, she cleared the controversy and said that she was wearing a matching swimsuit with a scarf around her waist and questioned why there was such a big fuss about it.
- In 2013, she caused a stir in the industry when she posted images and messages on her social media account, of a man named Babu Achar, who claimed to be the casting director and promised her a role in the film “Production No. 3,” on the condition that she ‘compromise.’ However, Babu Achar said that he had contacts in the film industry who wanted him to be assigned to the film but denied sending him any such messages. When asked about his messages with Sakshi, Babu said that he had none, as his messages were deleted every 24 hours.
