Although the Mexican actor was born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, his father is actually of Lebanese descent, as his ancestors came from the city of Baabdat, Lebanon. The “Frida” star and her father actually visited the city together in 2015 to promote her film “The Prophet.”
