Singer Britney Spears and her husband, Iranian actor Sam Asghari, appear to be united after reports surfaced on February 9 that the former personal trainer was planning an intervention for his wife.
Around midnight, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram to address the allegations, while the actress made a separate statement to reassure fans that Britney is in “full control of her life” after her 13-year conservatorship ends in November 2021.

In a statement made to Access Hollywood, the 28-year-old actor confirmed that “the creation did not happen.” However, he did not deny that there were plans to intervene.
“My wife is in full control of her life and will continue to make all decisions involving her care regardless of the circumstances,” he continued, adding, “Speculation about her health is unwarranted and must stop immediately.”

In her own Instagram post, the “Hold Me Closer” singer shared a cryptic message that read, “A state of gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency.”
“It sickens me that it’s legal for people to make up stories that I’m about to die … I mean at some point enough is enough!!!” Britney wrote.
“I might have to stop posting on Instagram because even though I enjoy doing it, there are obviously a lot of people who don’t wish me the best of luck !!!” Britney continued.

Britney wrapped up her post, writing, “I finally got my fireplace to work in my living room!!! As my hubby says best: don’t believe everything you read!!! All the love comes back to you!!!”
It looks like Britney got the support she needed from her husband, who liked her posts on Instagram. She did not comment, as Britney has disabled comments on Instagram since the beginning of the new year.
Reports of the meddling come a day after Sam took to her Instagram Stories to share a video she captioned “Matching clothes at Target.” The video shows Britney and Sam walking down a dressing room corridor at Target in pink button-down shirts, black shorts and white baseball caps.

On Thursday, TMZ was the first to report news of the intervention. A source with a “normal relationship” with Britney told the outlet “I’m afraid she’s going to die” amid claims the pop star has struggled with her mental health and substance abuse.
Sources say that her father, Jamie Lynn, was not involved with the planning of the intervention. Instead, the outlet reported that his manager rented a house in Los Angeles, where the intervention was supposed to take place on Tuesday.

Her husband, her doctor, an interventionist and her manager were all supposed to “convince” an “unsuspecting Britney” that she needed help. The “plan” was to keep him in a rented house for two months while he received treatment for his physical and mental health.
However, insiders say that the plan fell through when Britney became “quite aware” of the plan. Instead, he visited his own doctor on Wednesday and the meeting reportedly “went well.”

Later in the day, a source told PEOPLE that Sam is “supportive as best he can” of his wife amid her health issues. “Everyone is hoping Britney can be convinced to get treatment before things get worse but they know it won’t be easy,” the source said. “He’s been through a lot and is getting aggressive.”
Another insider reported, “Britney has been acting increasingly erratic and those around her are increasingly concerned,” adding, “She’s often up all night, sleeping while [the] day, and had much wrath.”
