On Thursday, a source told PEOPLE that Britney Spears is currently going through a tough time. Her manager and her husband, Sam Asghari, reportedly planned an intervention for her that ultimately failed. That being said, he met with a doctor on Wednesday night, who was reportedly “going well.”
However, at this time, it is unclear what the next step will be. “Britney has been acting increasingly erratic and the people around her are becoming concerned,” a source told the magazine. “He often stays up all night, sleeps during [the] day, and had much wrath.”

Another insider revealed that things have been “absolutely chaotic” and “very difficult” as those in Britney’s inner circle encourage her to get help. “Everyone is hoping Britney can be convinced to get treatment before things get worse but they know it won’t be easy,” the source explained. “He’s been through a lot and is getting aggressive.”
The insider also said that Sam is “as supportive as possible.” The couple married in June after six years of dating.

TMZ was the first to report the failed intervention on Thursday morning. An insider who has a “normal relationship” with Britney told the outlet “I’m scared she’s going to die” amid claims the 41-year-old pop star has struggled with mental health and substance abuse.
Sources say that Britney has been “out of control” and has alarmed those close to her with her “erratic and erratic behavior.” Additionally, he reportedly “takes medication” that “hyped him up” and “doesn’t take medication that stabilizes him.”
