The 29-year-old actress filed for divorce on Aug. 16, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, according to court documents obtained by The Blast. He listed the separation date as July 28, 2023, hinting that this divorce has been coming for a while.
Last week, fans learned that the “Special Ops: Lioness” actress has been living in a magnificent Los Angeles high-rise, although, unfortunately, it seems to be under Britney’s price. New reports indicate that Sam is staying close to Hollywood as he hopes to land not only more acting deals, but also TV hosting gigs.

However, it looks like he’s planning on making some big career moves when both strikes are said and done.
Sources have told TMZ that the actor has no plans to return to work as a personal trainer. In 2016, he appeared in the music video for Britney’s “Slumber Party,” which is how the two met, but he also worked at Royal Personal Training in Los Angeles at the time.
Now, he is not only interested in acting but in hosting as well. Sources told the outlet that Sam didn’t have any projects lined up before the writers’ strike and hasn’t been tied to anything since Hollywood remained on strike, but that’s what he wants to do in the future.
In the meantime, sources say that he has been spending time with his family. Amid reports that he has been spending time with his sister, the actor has also been spending time with his mother following a “major accident” that landed her in the emergency room last month.

At the end of July, the Iranian actress used her Instagram Stories to thank the staff at Cedars Senai for taking care of her mother after her “big accident”. At the time, he wrote, “A big thank you to the staff @cedarssinai Emergency Medical Staff,” he wrote at the time. “Today my mother was involved in a big accident. He was taken to the emergency room. With the help of an amazing medical staff and some friends he is well and resting.”
His father, Mike, and his mother, Fatima, moved Sam and his two sisters from Iran to the United States when he was just thirteen years old. As a result, the family remained close for many years.

Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, was one of the first to comment, writing, “Like this” along with a red heart emoji. However, comments on the post have been disabled. Interestingly, the post is dated July 31. In the divorce filing, Sam listed July 28 as the separation date. Maybe Lynne didn’t know they were separated at the time, as there are conflicting reports about his relationship with her daughter.

Shortly after news of the divorce broke, an insider told the Daily Mail that Britney’s mother was “furious” with Sam for “abandoning” her daughter and is now “begging” Britney to leave her Thousand Oaks estate in Los Angeles and live with him in Louisiana for ” heal and regroup.”
“Lynne is angry [Sam] for leaving Britney,” a source told the outlet. “He vowed to stand by her through sickness and in health – and she knew he wasn’t well [when they married].” They continued, “Lynne pleaded [Britney] to leave LA and live with him,” adding, “LA is toxic and the only thing keeping him there is [Sam]. Lynne believes she can heal and regroup in Louisiana, then return to LA when she’s ready.”
However, it seems the Princess of Pop is planning to stay in Los Angeles, especially amid reports that she is working on new music.
