Samaje Perine started playing football professionally in 2017 and continues to do so. He began his professional football career after being selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. He was a running back for the Hendrickson Hawks football team in high school, where he rushed for 1,492 yards and 12 touchdowns.
