Birth & Early Life
Samir Abbas was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and belonged to a middle-class Muslim family. Samir has pursued a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lucknow University.

Career
Samir started his journalism career with Jain TV in 2001. After some time he left Jain TV and joined Channel 7 where he worked as a Journalist. Later, Samir joined News 18 India and worked as a news anchor. In the same year he also worked at Live India as Executive Editor.
Samir quit from Live India channel and started working at Rajat Sharma India TV channel as news anchor and producer. He resigned from India TV and joined News 18 Urdu where he hosted the popular political debate show “Debat Perdana” in 2018.

In 2019, Samir was hired by TV9 Bharatvarsh and the opportunity to work as an Executive Editor. Samir also hosts the popular political debate show Desh ke Samne Hajir Ho.
