Career
Sanchita started her career while auditioning for Zee TV’s singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs 2006, hosted by Shantanu Mukherjee and judged by Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik and Bappi Aparesh Lahiri. After that, he started his career as a playback singer with his debut song Haathi Ka Bal Hai from the computer animated musical feature film Bal Ganesh in 2007.
Sanchita gained popularity for singing the title song Yamla Pagla Deewana in the film along with Sukhwinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan and Rahul B. Seth. Later, Sanchita made her Tollywood (Bengali) debut with the title song of the film Purulia Express with co-singer Raaz Chakraborty.
