Theater
Sanjeev Tyagi started his acting career in the theater world. He worked in several theater productions including ‘Devdas’ (2018), which was performed at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai. In this production, he played the role of ‘Chunnilal.’ It is a 150-minute drama, adapted from Sarat Chandra Chatterjee’s Bengali romance novel; Saif Hyder Hasan directed the play.

Sanjeev Tyagi made his debut in the Hindi television industry with the show DD National. In 2003, she appeared in the daily soap opera ‘Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai,’ aired on StarPlus channel. Tyagi plays the role of ‘Mr. Malhotra’ in the popular soap opera ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ (2005). - Sanjeev Tyagi started acting in theater productions when he was in college. After spending several years honing his skills in theatre, he decided to try his hand at appearing in Bollywood films for which he moved from Uttar Pradesh to Mumbai, where Sanjeev got an opportunity to appear in the show DD National, marking his first appearance on television. Tyagi, however, continued to perform in theater productions as well.
- In an interview, Tyagi shared his experience of joining the television series ‘Crime Patrol’ and revealed that the opportunity came to him easily. He mentioned that it was his friend who recommended him to the casting team of ‘Criminal Patrol.’ The team then contacted Tyagi, which led to his eventual selection for the role of an inspector in the series.
