Ferguson, nicknamed Fergie, is a devoted grandmother to three grandchildren, one of whom is Sienna, the only child of her eldest son Prince Beatrice from her union with property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Despite his age, the 63-year-old podcaster never tires of spending quality time with his grandchildren, and he shares his experiences in a new podcast episode, highlighting how much fun they always have.

She takes on her grandmother’s duties to the children whenever her daughter and son-in-law are away, which happened not long ago. “Beatrice and Edo are gone, so Gee Gee is in charge, and it’s really funny,” the philanthropist told his co-host, Sarah Thomson, during their chat, adding:

“I was hoping for a time when Sienna would come and say, ‘Gee Gee come and play,’ and now every minute of every day, Sisi wants to come and play!”

With Ferguson’s wish granted, he never had time to do anything without “this amazing little girl” and certainly wasn’t complaining. After describing Sienna as “so sweet,” she detailed that the youngster woke up to “pull up my skirt, jump into my Ugg boots, and then make me go out in the pouring rain and jump in a puddle in the pouring rain.”

The British author loved every moment and had no problem with the mess. He also named his grandson’s favorite game, Thomas the Tank Engine, with Sisi instructing him to act as an animated train.

Elaborating on the game, Ferguson said they had to create a “train station” in the Royal Lodge sitting room with small chairs that belonged to his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, when they were young.

The TV personality shares a daughter with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, whom she was married to from 1986 to 1996 and remained close after their divorce. In more detail, Ferguson noted that the train game involved his grandson, who played “station master,” following him and going “choo choo-ing” around the room.

“He’s Grandma and Grandpa’s guard now; I can definitely tell you that,” the British monarch told his co-patron before revealing how much the baby reminded him of Princess Beatrice as a child.

She shared, “When I followed her, it looked like Beatrice… it brought me back to follow Beatrice. It really is a mini-me.” “We had an incredible time,” Ferguson continued. “I’m so happy that Beatrice and Edo have some alone time too, so it’s amazing to be Gee Gee.”

“The Young Victoria” producer became a grandmother for the third time in May after the birth of Ernest George Ronnie, her daughter Eugenie with husband Jack Brooksbank. Following the birth, Fergie opened up about the boy’s name in the second episode of her podcast, revealing the special meaning behind it.

He said, “He’s called Ernest George Ronnie. He’s Ernest because George III’s middle name is Ernest and because it’s awesome. It will be good in Spain when we come to the villa. Ernesto.” The “Finding Sarah” star later discussed the origins of the other baby’s names, saying, “And then George after Jack’s father and Ronald — Ronnie — after my father, which was touching. [sic].”
