She donned a custom-made Vera Wang Haute light ivory silk ball gown with a hand pleated bodice and French tulle sleeves accented with a high slit that showed off her toned legs.
The actress also paired the dress with a white ankle-length veil. While her handsome husband, Adams, looked dapper in a black tuxedo and black tie.
Ferguson wore a navy blue suit and a white shirt. He stood at the altar as he began the procession to unite the two. He starts by making the couple laugh before getting into the ins and outs of marriage and how couples are meant to love and support each other to achieve success.
He went on to explain how the couple should learn to live together and love each other, saying, “Like the earth, if your love is a solid foundation that grows stronger throughout the seasons. Like a star, if your love is a constant source of light. Like a flame, if your union is ignited with passion and love in your heart.”
He then guided the couple in exchanging their vows and also included a hand-fasting ritual to honor Hyland’s Irish and Scottish heritage before pronouncing them husband and wife.

Before sweetly adding, “Happy birthday to the best officiant of all time! Our wedding wouldn’t be as special without you 💕🧙🏼♂️.”
Ferguson Reveals He Shouldn’t Officiate Marriage At First

The “Broadway Rising” actress did an incredible job officiating the wedding between Adams and Hyland because she looked like she was born for the role.
However, according to The Blast, Ferguson revealed during an exclusive interview that he was not originally chosen to officiate the wedding.
He revealed that the actress’s TV father, Ty Burrell, in the comedy series “Modern Family,” was supposed to officiate their union.
He said, “I don’t know if people know this, but Ty Burrell did it on purpose, and there was a family emergency. So, I got a phone call 12 days before the wedding, and that’s why Ty wasn’t there, he had business.”
He also explained that all the actors were invited to the couple’s wedding in Santa Barbara, although not everyone could make it to the ceremony. However, several stars graced the occasion – including Sofia Vergara, Ferguson’s partner, Justin Mikita, Julie Bowen, and Nolan Gould.
The “Ivy + Bean” actress also revealed that she was initially panicked when offered the role. In her words, “it’s going to be a wedding, and it’s going to be in Vogue magazine, and there’s going to be paparazzi pictures of me from a helicopter, officiating” before sarcastically adding, “no pressure.”
Thankfully, Ferguson has Burrell to help guide him through the entire process. The on-screen in-laws have no problem relying on each other to cross-check and check all the boxes to ensure the “Vampire Academy” actress has the best day of her life.
